SHAED serves as a Career Development Partner with Black Fleet Network, investing directly in the next generation of fleet and mobility leaders. Through its SHAED Scholars program, the company sponsored an alternative fuels and EV industry education experience for four undergraduates representing three HBCUs—Southern University, Prairie View A&M, and Texas Southern University. These students were given the opportunity to travel to a leading industry event, engage directly with fleet and commercial automotive leaders, and immerse themselves in the alternative fuel landscape. Beyond the event, SHAED extended its commitment by providing one-on-one mentorship, imparting career readiness skills and guidance for transitioning into the professional journey. This partnership reflects a powerful model of how industry innovation and talent development intersect to advance equity and opportunity.
