OEM Invitational & Technician Competition

Black Fleet Network™ is proud to co-host the 2nd Annual OEM Invitational in partnership with Prince George’s County Office of Central Services — now expanded to include a high-energy Technician Skills Competition and Workforce Education Experience.

Taking place on April 3, this dynamic event brings together public sector fleets, public works departments, law enforcement agencies, utilities, commercial dealer leaders, OEMs, technicians, and the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

The OEM Invitational

Leading manufacturers including Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford Motor Company, among others, will showcase commercial vehicles and equipment in live, operational demonstrations. Attendees will see vehicles in action with real-time engagement from OEM representatives and solution providers.

Inaugural Technician Skills Competition

For the first time, fleet technician teams from across the region will go head-to-head in a live competition designed to spotlight:

• Technical precision

• Diagnostic efficiency

• Team coordination

• Real-world problem solving

This competition celebrates the professionals who keep fleets running — and elevates the technical workforce as the backbone of public mobility.

Basic Skills Clinic + Educational Forum

Alongside the competition, expert commercial automotive technicians will lead a Basic Skills Clinic and Educational Forum designed specifically for regional vocational and trades students.

This experience introduces emerging technicians to:

• Foundational preventative maintenance skills

• Field-ready best practices

• Career pathways in commercial fleet and public sector mobility

• Direct mentorship from seasoned professionals
